Location: One Galle Face Mall, Colombo, Sri Lanka
Salary: LKR 200,000 - 250,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our reputable Food and Beverage company based in Sri Lanka.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions and ensure accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and P&L processes.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Provide support during tax preparation and audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven work experience as an Accountant, preferably in the Food and Beverage industry.
- CA qualification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
