Accounting Manager Department: Accounting & Finance
An international Company engaging in online consumer financing (Financial Technology - FinTech), who provides instant and premium financial solutions in response to the everyday and immediate financial needs of the Sri Lankan people, is looking for an Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
- Taking care of all tax, accounting, and financial issues in local company.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits and provide recommendations.
- Bookkeeping in line with local and corporate standards (IFRS).
- To be a responsible person in relations with local tax and government authorities.
- Bank accounts management (including conducting eDocFlow process, creating and tracking payments, CF management etc.).
- Conducting payroll calculation, accounting, and reporting.
- Cost controlling in the primary stage.
- Support to country manager (CM) in budgeting/forecasting processes.
- Monthly finance reporting to head quarter (HQ) on time.
- Ad hoc tasks from CM and HQ execution.
- Avoid legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing accounting regulations; recommending new procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 5-10 years' experience in accounting/finance
- Experience with financial reporting requirements
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
