Job Summary:
As a Boiler Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining boiler equipment to ensure the efficient and safe production of steam for various manufacturing processes.
Job Profile:
- Operate and control boiler equipment to generate steam according to production requirements.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations during all boiler operation activities. Conduct regular safety checks and inspections.
- Monitor and maintain optimal boiler performance, including pressure, temperature, and fuel levels.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on boiler systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing components as needed.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and emergencies, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
- Keep accurate records of boiler operation, maintenance activities, and fuel consumption. Update logs and reports regularly.
- Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to coordinate boiler-related activities and support overall manufacturing objectives.
Person Profile:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in Boiler Operation is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Boiler Operator in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Possession of a valid Boiler Operator License 1 and/or 2 as required by local regulations.
- Strong understanding of boiler systems, controls, and safety protocols.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adherence to safety procedures.
- Ability to diagnose and address boiler-related issues efficiently.
- Effective communication skills to convey information to team members and respond to emergencies.
- Ability to adapt to changing production requirements and work well under pressure.
