SOUS CHEF ALL DAY DINING

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef - All Day Dining to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, All Day Dining, you will step into a role where creativity meets precision. You will craft culinary journeys that transcend the ordinary, where your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of quality and innovation in every dish. Leveraging your expertise and passion, you will surpass the conventional, pushing the boundaries of taste and ushering our dining experience to unparalleled heights.

You will contribute to menu planning and recipe development, ensuring the execution of dishes to meet the highest culinary standards. In this role, you will oversee kitchen staff, ensuring a high standard of food quality, and maintaining adherence to established menus and recipes. You will proactively participate in the creative process, offering input for innovative dishes while ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Moreover, you will work closely with the culinary team to ensure guest expectations are met, responding promptly to any concerns and proactively resolving them. You will be responsible for preparing periodic budgets, forecasts and capital expenditures for the department. You will also analyze outlet revenue trends and reservation projections, taking corrective measures whenever necessary. Upholding professionalism and ethics, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences in our All Day Dining restaurant.
