Executive - Information Technology
We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive, Information Technology to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
Reporting to the Manager, Information Technology (Applications), the Executive, Information Technology will play a pivotal role in upholding the quality and efficiency of our IT systems, encompassing L1 IT Support for Applications, Hardware, and Network services, both within the hotel premises and for our esteemed guests. Your responsibilities will extend to the meticulous execution of IT functions in strict adherence to the established IT policies and guidelines of both the hotel and JKH Group. As the first point of contact, you will ensure that all reported issues from our staff and guests receive swift and prioritized resolutions. Additionally, you will be at the forefront of maintaining stringent security compliance standards for all hardware and software assets.
- The minimum qualification for this position is a HND in IT or Computer Science.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in IT/ Networking/ Computer Science or a relevant field.
- Are you an IT Support Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry?
- Do you have experience in configuring and troubleshooting complex software applications?
- Do you have experience working with Opera Cloud PMS/ other hospitality applications?
- Are you an excellent communicator with the ability to multi-task?
