Responsibilities
- Processing supplier payments while ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness and compliance with company policies.
- Record of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Assist operations team in petty cash voucher / daily expenses settlement and maintain accuracy.
- Maintenance of cash float record and prompt cash arrangements for daily operations.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and clients.
- Ensuring payments are made when due to avoid disruption.
- Address inquiries and resolve payment-related issues.
- Reconcile bank accounts and financial records regularly.
- Verify invoices for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications and skills
- Pass G.C.E. A/L commerce stream
- Partially qualified in professional accounting body. (AAT/ CA/CIMA)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in similar capacity
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to develop & maintain good working relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
- Excellent computer literacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
