Chef de Cuisine - All Day Dining
We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef de Cuisine - All Day Dining to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, you will curate a symphony of flavours that transcends traditional culinary boundaries. Your leadership will be the driving force behind the kitchen, where innovation meets tradition, creating an experience that tantalizes the senses. With a passion for culinary excellence, you will redefine the art of dining, ensuring every dish tells a story of precision, creativity and unparalleled taste.
You will play a pivotal role in orchestrating a culinary symphony that encompasses menu planning, kitchen management and quality control. Your innovative approach will drive the development of diverse and appealing menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner services, ensuring alignment with our culinary standards. Leading and motivating your team, you will create a positive and collaborative work environment, conducting training sessions to enhance skills. With your unwavering commitment to quality control, you will conduct regular tastings and inspections, maintaining consistency across all dishes. Financial acumen is crucial as you prepare budgets, forecasts and capital expenditure plans, analyzing revenue trends and implementing corrective measures. Staying informed about culinary trends, you will incorporate innovative techniques and ingredients, keeping our culinary offerings contemporary. Engaging with guests proactively and promptly addressing their concerns will significantly contribute to maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
