Required skills

  • Strong track record in leading a finance shared services team in a large organisation, with specific experience around finance operations and financial reporting and control
  • 7-10 years' of experience in shared services with minimum 5 years of leading a similar team in a similar environment in a senior managerial capacity.
  • Experience in managing cross geography reporting lines and business relationships.
  • Experience in leading and creating a high performance team with strong skills in people management.
  • Membership in a Professional Accountancy body or equivalent (i.e. ACCA, CIMA)
  • Take lead in driving a collaborative culture across the finance function.
  • Ability to scope and shape the role and the team, while adapting to a fast changing environment.
  • Strong process orientation, with the ability to design robust reporting frameworks.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships globally and maximise opportunities by challenging ways of working, adopting Group practices, and seeking and providing information and clarification.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience of Oracle is preferred.
  • Ability to work according to UK work hours.
