Candidate profile I Key skills

  • A strong track record in the following:
    • P&L and Balance Sheet reporting, consolidation proms, management and statutory reporting, Balance Sheet controls and reconciliations.
    • Understanding of accounting concepts and principles, and reporting to tight deadlines.
    • Knowledge and experience of operational or reconciliation promses, and implementation of financial controls in operations.
    • Standardising and streamlining disparate activities.
    • Managing cross geography reporting lines and business relationships.
  • Five to seven years' experience in shared services with minimum of three years' experience in leading a similar team in a similar environment in a managerial capacity.
  • A degree or professional qualification in Accountancy is a must (Chartered Accountancy, ACCA, or CIMA is preferred).
  • Ability to scope and shape the team while adapting to fast changing environment.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written.
  • Be a lead proponent in driving a collaborative culture to working across Finance.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues from the wider Group.
  • Ability to work as per UK working hours.
