The Production Machine Operator will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of paper manufacturing equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality paper products. Job Profile:
- Operate and monitor paper manufacturing machinery to ensure smooth production processes.
- Conduct routine machine inspections and maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure equipment efficiency.
- Adjust machine settings to meet product specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor the production process for quality control and address any issues or defects.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues and escalate complex problems to the maintenance team.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Person Profile:
- HND or an any other qualification in a related field.
- Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the paper industry.
- Proficient in operating and maintaining production machinery.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues.
- Commitment to quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate records.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced production environment.
- Flexibility to work in shifts if required.
