Japanese Interpreter
Job Description:
As a Japanese Interpreter, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication and collaboration among our diverse teams. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Providing real-time translation and interpretation support during meetings, discussions and conference calls between team members.
- Translating a range of documents, including technical specifications, project documentation, and communication materials to and from Japanese and English.
- Ensuring accurate conveyance of technical terms and concepts, maintaining context and upholding the quality and integrity of translations.
- Utilizing your proficiency in Japanese language and culture to bridge communication gaps and facilitate a cohesive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese language.
- Certified Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) qualification (N3 or higher) or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a professional translator preferably within the software development or IT industry.
- Familiarity with software development terminology and concepts is a strong advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in multicultural settings.
