SENIOR MANAGER - BUSINESS CONTROLLING

The role encompasses a range of financial and strategic responsibilities aimed at optimizing the performance and profitability of the company. The role will play a crucial part in guiding the business strategy of the company and driving the financial/business goals and objectives collaborating with different stakeholders.

JOB PROFILE
  • Development and execution of business strategies connected to pricing strategy, margin strategy and inventory optimization with the objective of maximizing the top line and bottom line
  • Analysis of financial performance against key KPIs and to provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
  • Develop and oversee the annual revenue and margin budgets and responsible for the preparation of monthly rolling revenue forecast based on market and organizational conditions
  • Analysis and implementation of business strategies / business planning at Brand level / store level
  • Preparation of monthly performance report and reporting to top management
  • Evaluate brand performance and set purchase plans to achieve target top line and bottom line by maintaining an optimal level of inventory
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate new business opportunities and models to assess the financial and operational feasibility
  • Implementation of pricing strategies for all local and international brands by evaluating brand positioning and portfolio analysis, competition, and international market conditions
  • Establishment of promotional plans and execution of companywide promotions by collaborating with operations and marketing teams
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: operations, marketing, Visual merchandizing and buying teams to develop action plans to address performance gaps
  • Lead and monitor business controlling team and foster a culture of excellence and accountability

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred Should be fully CIMA Qualified - ACMA is an added advantage
  • Experience - Over 5+ years in controlling, management accounting, analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial management software.
