Architectural and Furniture Draftsman | Naiwala / Veyangoda
We are a company engaged in the Export, Building Design, Furniture Manufacturing and Facility Management industries and are looking for a skilled Draftsman for our office at Naiwala, Veyangoda.
The Job Functions
- Visit and create as-built CAD drawings of client sites
- Design and draft furniture designs to meet customer requirements
- Drafting production and detailed design drawings
- Supervising production staff in the production process
- Overseeing any work related to fixing and repairing
- Visiting and meeting customers and suppliers
- Participate in business development activities
The Person
- At least 2 years of experience in design/draftsmanship etc
- A recognized qualification in draftsmanship (NVQ/NDT/HND etc)
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and 3D CAD drawing
- Knowledge in SketchUp or Lumion 3D modelling will be an added advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
