Executive - Operations cum Sales (MCC/Consolidation)

The Job Role
  • Create and implement comprehensive strategies to achieve LCL/MCC volume targets, focusing on streamlining weekly consolidation services for optimal efficiency.
  • Conduct proactive & prospective sales calls and promote GLL/MCO consolidation services.
  • Manage and nurture healthy relationships with customers, ensuring positive interactions and resolving issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and ensure follow-through until resolution, prioritizing customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and maintain a robust agency LCL/Consol network.
  • Take responsibility for customer dues, actively follow up with debtors, and ensure timely collections to optimize cash flow and financial stability.
  • Enhance relationships with ocean carriers, airlines, container depots, warehouses, 3PL service providers, transporters, and related vendors to ensure smooth & efficient operations.

Skills and Experienced Required
  • Strong understanding of sales concepts, methods, and techniques, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Demonstrated industry knowledge and an established pool of LCL/MCC customers and forwarders. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the logistics or shipping industry.
  • Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and communication tools, including MS Office Suite and CRM systems.
