We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Export to join our team at Embilipitiya Paper Mills (Pvt) Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our export operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing efficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the operational excellence of our company and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production function.
Job Profile:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our international market presence and achieve export sales targets.
- Manage the end-to-end export process, including order processing, documentation, shipping coordination, and customs clearance.
- Identify new export markets and business opportunities, conduct market research, and establish relationships with international customers and partners.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, trade agreements, and customs requirements for all shipments, minimizing the risk of penalties or delays.
- Lead and motivate the export team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor export performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions as needed to optimize efficiency and profitability.
Person Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in business, international trade, logistics, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in export management will be an advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in export operations, preferably in manufacturing or related industry, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of export regulations, documentation requirements, shipping logistics, and international trade practices.
- Excellent leadership and management abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to negotiate with international clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
