EXECUTIVE PASTRY CHEF
We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Pastry Chef to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
You will report to the Executive Chef and be accountable for the overall management of the pastry kitchen while crafting confectionary masterpieces that transcend the ordinary and tantalize taste buds. You will lead the creative charge in crafting an enticing a diverse menu that complements our culinary offerings. Your expertise will add a touch of indulgence and sophistication to every dish, contributing to the grandeur of the monumental Cinnamon Life project, making our pastry offerings truly exceptional.
Your expertise will be instrumental in developing innovative pastry recipes, ensuring each creation consistently meets the highest quality standards through meticulous adherence to standardized recipes and production procedures. You will oversee the ordering and inventory management of ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen while adhering to food safety standards and regulations. In your capacity, you will lead the pastry team, ensuring that every creation emerging from the kitchen is a masterpiece while instilling a commitment to excellence. Your role extends to directing the preparation and production of various pastries, cakes and desserts, collaborating with the Executive Chef and your team for a seamless integration of offerings. Your responsibilities also extend to cost control and budget management, where your keen financial acumen will contribute to the financial success of our operations. You will engage with our clients and guests, exemplifying a steadfast dedication to customer satisfaction and cultivating memorable experiences.
