Sous Chef - In Room Dining

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef In Room Dining to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, In Room Dining, you will play a pivotal role in transforming every guest's stay into a gastronomic delight. Your culinary finesse and passion for creating memorable dining experiences will redefine in-room dining, setting a new standard of excellence within the luxurious confines of Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort. Harnessing your expertise, you will lead the charge in culinary innovation, crafting each dish as a masterpiece and every guest experience as an unforgettable chapter in our commitment to excellence.

Collaborating closely with the culinary team, you will play a pivotal role in crafting innovative and enticing menus that not only meet but exceed guest expectations. As the culinary maestro, you will oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes, ensuring unwavering quality and consistency. Leadership takes center stage as you motivate and guide your team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment. In addition to overseeing ordering, inventory management and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, you will navigate the kitchen with precision. Your involvement in budgeting, cost control and staying abreast of culinary trends places you at the forefront of enhancing our in-room dining offerings. Your dedication to excellence extends to guest interaction, encompassing the gathering of feedback and handling special VIP requests, thereby enhancing the overall in-room dining experience.
