ASSISTANT MANAGER, RESTAURANT JAPANESE
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager, Restaurant - Japanese to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
Reporting to the General Manager, Restaurant - Japanese, you will help oversee culinary operations in our upscale Japanese Restaurant. With your keen eye for detail, dynamic approach, and blend of creativity and professionalism, you will warmly welcome guests and ensure an exceptional dining experience that captures the essence of luxury.
Your role includes overseeing daily operations, leading and motivating a dedicated team, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your cultural sensitivity helps create an authentic atmosphere that honors Japanese culinary traditions. You will work closely with chefs on menu development and updates, focusing on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while upholding high standards of food quality, service and cleanliness. Your financial skills will aid in managing budgets, analyzing financial reports and implementing strategies to boost profitability. You will promptly address guest inquiries to ensure a positive and memorable dining experience. By working with the hotel's marketing team, you will develop promotional strategies and execute events to attract and retain our esteemed patrons.
